Frankie Thieriot

Frankie Thieriot is an accomplished rider who has competed at the top levels of eventing for nearly a decade. Thieriot rode her long time partner Fric Frac Berence to multiple three star competitions, and has since made a name for herself as the face of US eventing, interviewing athletes across the country for the USEA.

Currently, Frankie rides Tory Smith’s Uphoria, a talented 9-year-old holsteiner mare. Together, the duo has had a great deal of success in their short time as partners.

In 2012 Frankie and Uphoria “Roo” finished 2nd and 3rd respectively in Roo’s first CIC* and CCI* events and brought home the win from start to finish in just their 2nd Intermediate competition. Roo also finished the 2012 season winning the best-conditioned horse honor for all FEI divisions at the Galway Downs International Event. Together Frankie and Roo look forward to continuing their partnership and hope to move up to the 2* level in 2013.

Frankie has been using Equus feed for several years for all of the horses in her barn. Whether it be for her upper level competition horse or her retired horses at home, they have never looked better. “This feed has truly changed the way my horses look and feel. They offer something for every horse you have. My horse’s coats have never looked better and their performances speak volumes since switching to Equus. The staff at Associated Feed makes sure to assist with any questions you may have, helping you choose the right grain for each horses unique needs. I would recommend every horse be put on their truly superior products!”

Niki Clarke

From the beginning Niki Clarke wanted to make her passion for horses a part of her career. Beginning as a young Eventer, Niki trained under exceptional Three-day Eventers Amy Barrington and the O’Connors. Her dedication and will to improve herself earned Niki a quick rise to numerous Eventing successes and accolades--one of those numerous accolades being long listed for the Sydney Olympics. In 2004 Niki decided to pursue a career in her main passion: dressage. Once deciding upon this career change, Niki traveled to Holland for 6 months to train under Bert Rutten. Niki began working with Kathleen Raine and David Wightman in California, content to establish her career here.

Niki’s accomplishments include Bronze, Silver and Gold USDF Medals, Reserve Champion at the Brentina Cup in 2007, and third place at the 2010 Brentina Cup. Niki has earned wins at multiple levels with a variety of horses throughout the FEI levels and in 2016 won first place in the Open Prix St. George, Developing Horse Prix St. George, and was High Point of the entire show at the California Dreaming Productions LA Mid Winter Dressage show. Niki was also second in two Prix St. George classes and took first and second place in the Developing Horse Prix St. George at the California Dreaming Productions Dressage Affair.

But more than just competing, Niki also enjoys training horses and top riders in Dressage and Eventing. Training both horse and rider is immensely rewarding for Niki; many riders respond to her positive approach, her passion for their sport, and those around her have noted Niki’s clear enjoyment and pride she takes in training horses from the beginning of their careers to the highest levels of competition.

Brian Alves

Brian and Diane Alves have been raising, showing and breeding quality Paint horses as a team for over 20 years. They are located in the heart of California’s Central Valley and have produced standout Futurity, World and State Champions. They excel in producing outstanding halter and lungeline horses (which equate to performance prospects) and show extensively on the West Coast.

Before the team was formed they were both raised in a horse environment but each one was slightly different. Brian grew up on dairies in Stanislaus County and because of his association with the bovine aspect of life he became involved in horses thru roping. He and his brother hit the junior rodeos when they were young then he continued to focus primarily on the ACTRA ropings as an adult – keeping one or two horses around to take off with.
